Story
Mallika (Charmee) it’s a high class call girl. While returning from
one assignment she gets involved in a accident driving her car in a
drunken state. This results in Lalit(Rahul) losing his eye sight.
Mallika to make amends brings him to her house knowing that Lalit was
an orphan. She gets moved by the touching poems of Lalit who was a
budding writer. She takes a break from her profession and realises that
there is another world for her to explore.
Where this will lead to in her relationship with Lalit and what it’s her flashback should be enjoyed on silver screen.
Performance
Pre release Charmee’s performance was much talked about. However
except in the end and beginning of the film, Charmee was present no
where in the film. She is ok in her role as she made conscious attempt
to bring different shades. She was glamorous and later when she tried to
be different she looked aged.
Rahul didnot have much scope for performance as he played the role of
a blind man. Otherwise he should hone up his acting skills. Saranya
looked quite aged opposite hero.
Rao Ramesh, Chandra Mohan, Ravi Babu and others roles are quite minimal. Tagubotu Ramesh’s comedy worked out in the film.
Technical
Production values are ok. Editing could have been far better. Music
by Praveen is enjoyable. Background score is below average.
Cinematography by Praveen Bhandari is average.
Director could have used some of his creativity.

Analysis
Chandu of 10th Class fame selected a routine story. Though for the
first few minutes he created interest, once Charmee commits accident,
the entire film went for a toss. First half tried to introduce various
characters while the second half drifted wayward. One couldn’t make head
or tail of what director was telling. Editing went for a miss in the
second half.
Slow first half and clueless second half killed the film. This made
many look for the exit doors even before the climax. Even the climax is
routine. Some of the dialogues by debutant Pulagam C. Narayana attracted
all.
Final Talk
People who go to movie to enjoy Charmee will be in for a shock!
